I went to Project Colt in Huddersfield to do interviews and take photographs for publicity for West Yorkshire Learning Consortium.
This was really interesting and challenging since Project Colt are a voluntary organization who provide support for substance misuse. Aswell as providing free rehab sessions and group counselling , they have a large second hand furniture store and art room , that the participants can work in.
Project Colt is based within a huge mill that is still being developed to provide more rooms for storage and workshops.
I got to talk to some of the participants and was invited to sit in one of the group sessions. Here are some of the photos from the day:

wingbeats identity
This is my second Final Major project.I designed the identity and publicity for this project.Wingbeats is a theatre/music project for the Cultural Olympiad 2012.The project is based on the question 'How do we fly without leaving the ground?' It is based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, but the University of Leeds is involved aswell as Bridlington Renaissance. I designed the logo, the letterhead, t-shirts for the performers, business cards, web designs and the publicity.
Final Major Project 1- 'It's neither nowt nor summat'
For one of my Final Major projects, I designed an educational book for young yorkshire teenagers to teach them about their heritage. My aim was to bring Yorkshire dialect into a contemporary society and to get young people using the dialect creatively.
